When KipleHome was introduced in 2019, many residential communities were still managing their daily operations through manual processes. At the time, KipleHome noted that, at present, 90% of neighbourhoods still rely on manual processes to manage their property (iProperty Malaysia, 2019). These manual tasks led to inefficiencies and security risks in the operations. During the launch, it was pointed out that some of the common concerns are that “visitors’ entry in a log book may be easily tampered with or misplaced” (Online Marketplaces, 2019). Moreover, the residential communities had an increased risk of unauthorised access if there was no verification of the visitors.

Therefore, Green Packet has come out with a solution to revolutionise how communities should be managed. Through Kiple Sdn. Bhd. created KipleHome as a unified digital platform that compiled all the key aspects of community management. Residents were able to register visitors digitally, receive announcements, communicate with property management directly and book shared facilities, and make cashless payments without having to switch between multiple systems. Meanwhile, property managers, Joint Management Bodies (JMBs), Management Corporations (MCs) and developers found a more streamlined means of handling residential communities. Hence, Green Packet’s vision of supporting digitally empowered communities, recognising that technology could help property managers to improve security, efficiency, and everyday community living.

KipleHome has continued to grow and meet the Malaysian community’s expectations over the years.
